Visit Tanna Island and enjoy the Yasur Volcano tour. Renowned for possessing an active volcano, the Yasur Volcano, this is one of the only places in the world where visitors can view and feel the volcano’s eruption located by the crater.
Or, select the Epi Island – Dugong adventure. Upon arriving at Epi Island, tourists will have the opportunity to swim with dugongs, a large marine animal that is similar to a manatee. Dugongs are sensitive creatures, so safety precautions are enacted.
A land diving trip to Pentecost Island also makes for a fine day. Celebrating the harvest of Yam, the land diving excursion is only available on Saturdays, April to June. Land diving is reputed to be the inspiration for bungee jumping.
