Evergreen – A True Vanuatu Experience

Vanuatu is a mesmerizing, enchanting and exotic group of islands that lies in the Pacific Ring of Fire, where stories of their origins are still handed down from generation to generation, weaving together the past and the present, and can be best told by the people who have inhabited them for centuries. Narrations of the birth of these islands resulting from volcanic eruptions, and of the spiritual connections its people have formed with their environment can be compelling tales. Recognizing the cultural uniqueness of the indigenous inhabitants of Vanuatu, the Malas family conceptualized an authentic travel experience of their islands leading to the creation of an indigenous tour company.

Evergreen Vanuatu became a reality in 1999, and has since grown into a large network operating throughout the major islands of this Melanesian gem in the South Pacific Ocean. Staffed entirely by indigenous people, the Ni-Vanuatu, Evergreen offers tourists a wonderful insight into the culture, land and way of life of the Melanesians, who possess the warmth and hospitality of a simple and deeply spiritual people. Every member of their highly trained staff knows these islands like the back of his or her hand, and through the secrets and stories you hear from them, you find yourself intertwined into the fabric of their culture.

Well connected to liaise with travel agents in other countries, such as New Caledonia, Australia and New Zealand, Evergreen is able to offer convenience of bookings and bi-lingual services in French and English at comptetitive prices. Dedicated to preserving their culture and traditions, it is the only inbound tour company that provides services to the Mele Cascades Waterfalls and Pele Island Beach and snorkeling reefs.

Trips to major sights of interest, specially designed event tours, kid-oriented adventures, sailing, snorkeling, and historic tours to Port Vila are all at your service when you travel with Evergreen. High-quality service, superbly comfortable, air-conditioned coaches give Evergreen the reputation of being the best in the business, with standards unmatched by any other.
